Hinch 10 year old sherry cask is initially matured for 10 years in American Oak, before being finished for a minimum of 6 months in the finest 30 year old Oloroso Sherry casks from the Bodega Garvey in Jerez. Hinch is located just south of Belfast in the grounds of the beautiful Killaney Estate. The distillery takes its name from the nearby town of Ballynahinch, whose name in Irish translates as ‘town of the island’.
