Jameson Caskmates IPA edition is a result of Jamesons collaboration with The Franciscan Well (a local brewery in Cork). Jameson sent some casks to the brewery to be used in making the their IPA beer. When the IPA was bottled, the casks were returned to Jameson and filled with Jameson Original Whiskey. The outcome has the smoothness of Jameson Original with added hints of hops which brings citrus and floral notes to this whiskey.
