Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey

Interestingly, Kilbeggan is double distilled instead of the usual triple distillation process which is more synonymous to Irish whiskey. It results in a more robust character with some very light peatiness. Kilbeggan contains a low amount of malt at 15 to 20 percent and is aged in mostly first fill bourbon casks with a smaller portion from second and third fill barrels.
