Killowen 10 Year Old Oatmeal Imperial Stout Cask is the sixth and penultimate in Killowen’s Bonded Experimental Series. Killowen sourced a cask wet and fresh from the Mourne Mountains Brewery who had just disgorged it as part of their Hop’s & Stave’s cask-aged stout edition. Before stout, the cask previously held whiskey from a Dublin Distillery and prior to that, an American Bourbon. The cask imparted complex flavours into this 10 year old whiskey as it sat in it for a year. Cask strength bottled at 54.1%.
