West Corks original blended Irish whiskey is a delicate blend of grain (75%) and malt (25%) matured exclusively in bourbon casks, with a slight citrus and cracked pepper aroma. A smooth and balanced whiskey, the taste is one of malt, lingering sweetness, citrus, apple and nutmeg.
West Cork Distillers was formed in 2003 by childhood friends John O’Connell, Ger McCarthy and Denis McCarthy. WCD currently operate out of a 12.5 acre site in Skibbereen in West Cork and export to over 70 countries.
