One of the many joys of Irish Whiskey drinking is its versatility. Refreshing in the summer and warming in the cooler winter, the various styles, expressions and flavors of Irish Whiskey gives you the freedom to experiment in many different ways. The Dubliner Irish Whiskey portfolio covers an array of flavour profiles from smokey to sweet, making them the perfect component for a whiskey based mixed drink.
Modern interpretations of traditional recipes have been giving a new and refreshing twist to classic cocktails. From cult favourites, to more complex cocktails, there is a suitable whiskey expression out there for every palate. The distinct flavour of whiskey comes from the barrels in which it is aged. The strongest flavours are usually imparted from the wood of the barrel they are contained in. The Dublin Liberties Distillery use Bourbon casks to age and mature their whiskeys, giving them sweet undertones of vanilla and coconut.
Smokey whiskeys like The Dubliner Smoked Beer Cask, get their flavour from ageing in charred barrels, ex-Bourbon casks or when ran through a still that had previously held heavy peated malts.
