Dingle Distillery's highly anticipated fourth Single Malt release is upon us. The fourth release comprises of malt whiskey that has been matured in ex Bourbon, Sherry and Port casks. This will be the first such release from Dingle. Bottle at 46.5% and non chill filtered.

The Battalion is a blended Irish Whiskey with mezcal and tequila cask influence. The Battalion is a 60% 9 Year old Grain and 40% 13 Year old Malt Blend bottled at 41%. J.J. Corry Battalion is the world’s first Irish whiskey made using tequila and mezcal casks to influence its flavour. Batch 1 will consist of an edition of 700 bottles.

The Blue note is a 7 year old single malt from Boann Distillery which has been matured in oak Bourbon casks with further ageing and finishing in Oak Sherry Oloroso casks. This edition is bottled at 46% and is non chill-filtered. 

Hinch 5 year old Double Wood is a blend of 20% Single Malt/80% Single Grain. Initially matured for 4 years in ex-Bourbon Casks with a second maturation in taking place in Virgin American Oak Barrels for a minimum of one year. This second maturation gives the whiskey subtle depth, natural colour and character that befits the use of term “two woods”.

An excellent example of mildly peated Irish whiskey. Connemara Distillers edition is matured in bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at a decent 43% with no age statement. The Connemara whiskeys lead the way when it comes to peated Irish whiskey.
