This maritime gin is made with Aran Islands Kombu seaweed. It was from Kombu that the holy grail of flavor, the fifth taste, Umami was first isolated.

Aran Islands Kombu, harvested on the last outcrop of Europe, brings a savory twist to this unique Irish product.

Nose: Clean, with classic juniper, a blast of fresh saltiness and hint of citrus.

Palate: Smooth and balanced, starting with juniper and citrus, giving way to umami depth from the Kombu and a bold peppery spice.

Finish: More Umami balanced with a long, dry, spicy finish.
