Blackwater Juniper Cask Gin

The guys at Blackwater distillery wondered what would happen if one were to age gin in a cask made from juniper wood! They went a step further and actually did it! They had 50 litre Juniper wood casks specially made for them and they matured a slightly different variant of Blackwater No 5 in them. The 12 botanicals used are the same as Blackwater No 5 but in slightly different proportions with more emphasis on the orange and sweeter roots to give it a well rounded balance.
