Copeland 25.3 Single Malt Whiskey is crafted entirely from malted barley, double distilled, and aged for at least five years. This release includes a selection of eight meticulously chosen casks, sourced from the original 125 owners, each selected for its unique character and balance. The finishing cask, an ex-California Pinot Noir 225L, was previously used for their Smugglers Reserve Rum, imparting a rich layer of rum and Pinot Noir character that enhances the sweetness, spice, and fruity notes of the final whiskey. The result is a beautifully rounded, layered spirit that harmoniously balances influences from Bourbon, Oloroso, Pinot Noir, and Rum, creating a uniquely vibrant single malt experience.
TASTING NOTES
| Nose | Sweet, sharp and bright. Fresh mango and citrus. Dry oak shavings with hints of buttered biscuit, sugared pear and sherry dipped rhubarb. |
