Inspired by the townland – Coillín Darach (small oak grove) on which the distillery is located we have introduced the Oak Cask Series – whiskey aged in Ex Bourbon barrels and finished using species specific virgin oak casks
Croithlí Quercus Robur – the ‘European Oak’ most often used for sherry casks. The trees grow throughout Europe, but ours come from the highly prized region of Slavonia in Croatia – Lužnjak casks.
