Glendalough Calvaodos XO Single Cask was matured in a first-fill bourbon cask laying a smooth, sweet foundation of vanilla, honey butterscotch, and toffee flavours. It was then transferred into a French Oak Calvados XO cask. This cask had previously held apple brandy for over six years, steeping it in orchard fruit flavors, while the French oak itself comes through with characteristics, beautifully-complex woody spices.
