Redacted Release 003 Boann 5 Year Old Single Pot Still is the latest addition to Redacted Independent Bottler’s growing portfolio of independently bottled Irish whiskey releases: a 5 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey distilled at Boann Distillery and matured in a highly distinctive rejuvenated French oak cask from the historic Forêt de Tronçais. Released in Redacted’s now-signature 200ml “naggin” format, the bottling continues the company’s mission of making exceptional Irish whiskey more accessible while championing transparency, flavour-forward cask selection, and modern Irish whiskey culture.

The defining feature of the release is its highly unusual oak maturation. The whiskey was matured in a rejuvenated French oak cask sourced from the famed Forêt de Tronçais, one of France’s most celebrated oak forests and a source of some of the world’s finest coopering timber for centuries.
