The Skellig’s Sipper Bundle

This exciting bundle consists of Skellig Triple Cask Single Pot Still and Skellig Small Batch Whiskey.

Skellig Triple Cask Single Pot Still is matured in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks in homage to the centuries of maritime trade between the Skellig Coast and European ports, which often saw boats passed the Skellig Rocks carrying sherry from the bodegas of Jerez. Some of this whiskey was also briefly finished in a former peated cask to give it a mos (slightest hint) of peat to reflect the geography and aromas of the Skellig Coast, with its hectares of raised Atlantic peatlands.

Skellig Small Batch Whiskey is a premium Irish whiskey made from a blend of Pot Still and Grain Irish Whiskey, finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks after an initial maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels. The pot still whiskey influence shines in this one, adding lots of depth and balance, with the PX finish adding a rich sweetness to the taste profile.
