The Bushmills 10 Year Old is an exceptional Irish single malt that's been triple distilled, matured, married and bottled at the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Single malt whiskey has been made in the small Northern Irish village of Bushmills since 1608,when Shakespeare was still writing his plays, making us the pioneer of Irish single malt. Green Spot has been in continuous production now for almost 100 years. It somehow survived the Irish war of independence and the Irish civil war. This has to say something? A combination of malted and unmalted barley that has aged from 7-10 years in a combination of new and re-fill bourbon casks and sherry casks. Most probably the King of single pot still whiskeys.
