Bán Poitín

Bán Poitíin is the wonderful creation of Dave Mulligan who now also runs the hugely successful Bar 1661 on Capel Street in Dublin. Bán is produced at the Echlinville distillery in the Ards Peninsula and was one of the first Poitíns that begun the revival of the category many years ago. It is distilled from potaoes, malted barley and sugar beet to create an outstanding version of Ireland’s traditional spirit.
