Mulroy Bay Irish Poitín Peat & Sherry

Baoilleach Distillery’s Peated Irish Poitín has been held in Sherry seasoned oak barrels for 10 weeks. Made with the same grains and Potatoes as our Original Poitín but with a percentage of Peated Malt barley. The barrels are small in size and impart a full and deep Sherry finish which is accompanied by a sweet peat. At 58.9% it packs a real flavour punch which brings you back looking for more.

Nose: White fruit, wood spice and peat.

Palate: Sweet peat, wood spice, campfire, sherry fruit, nut and white fruits.

Finish: Rich, intense with peat, ash and white fruits.
