A beautifully crafted small batch single grain Irish whiskey. The mash bill is made up of 93% corn and 7% malted barley. After 4 years of aging, the whiskey is transferred to sweet red tawny port casks from the Douro region of Portugal for a period of 6 months. The whiskey picks up its colours and flavours from the port casks. Ballyhoo Irish Whiskey was awarded an outstanding 92 points by the Wine Enthusiast Magazine, (March ’19 issue).
