The Lochindaal by Bruichladdich
Introducing, the first Scotch Whisky on Irishmalts! Lochindaal is a first for W.D. O’Connell Whiskey Merchants too. They appreciate a great Scotch as much as we love Irish whiskey, and are privileged to add Bruichladdich to their growing list of distilleries where they bottle. Cask #4278 is a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. It was distilled on December 1st 2010 by Jim McEwan using a heavily peated variety of malted barley sourced from Bairds. At ten years old and 63.1% abv, no added colour and non chill-filtered, this Islay single malt whisky is an easy drinker. Brilliant.
