Tyrconnell Madeira Cask Finish is aged 10 years in used Bourbon barrels, then finished in casks previously used to age Madeira, a fortified wine hailing from a group of islands off the coast of Portugal. Bottled at 46% to bring out the flavour nuances of its casks, The Tyrconnell Madeira Cask Finish begins with a salty, red fruit flavour-filled nose before finishing dry, with prominent notes of cocoa, caramel, and allspice.
