Presenting one of the three Single Pot Still expressions unveiled for the Summer Solstice of 2024 by Boann Distillery. Boann Single Pot Still Marsala Cask is an exceptional single pot still was initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels sourced from the renowned Brown Forman of Kentucky, crafted from 200-liter American Oak (Quercus Alba) with a heavy char. These barrels were filled with a mixed mash bill Single Pot Still distillate, featuring malted barley, unmalted barley, oats, and rye—all of which are locally grown Irish grains. The whiskey underwent a final maturation in Fine Marsala Butts made from Quercus Petraea French oak, in collaboration with the esteemed Marsala house, Cantine de Vinci.
