‘Boann. Irish goddess of the River Boyne’

In the heart of the Boyne Valley, the Cooney family is reviving the time-honoured traditions of Ireland’s Master Distillers. The Boann Distillery is a family company,with a combined wealth of experience, including forty years in the Irish drinks industry. 

Every raw ingredient used in the distillery is 100% natural and 100% local, with every drop of water sourced from the Boyne Valley well. The distillery is extremely sustainable, from recycling all of their input water to and using the bi-products of their distillation as animal feed.

 Boann is also the first distillery in Ireland to employ nano-technology and pioneering sub coolers in the production of their ‘New Make Spirit’. 

Boann also produce and distill their own Silks Gin. The gin is distilled in Boann’s custom made copper pot still ‘Bennett’, with 14 distinctive botanicals that are farmed from their own family orchard.
