The Knappogue Castle Château Pichon Baron is another addition to the Knappogue Castle Cask Series, in which single malts are finished in premium wine casks. This limited release has been matured in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 years before finishing in Pichon Baron from renowned Bordeaux winery. This has been made from malted barley and is distilled in copper pot stills. A soft and light profile with fruity notes of citrus, toasted nuts and spices: notes of vanilla and mocha.

A special edition of Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old Single Malt that has been bottled at natural cask strength. Matured in first fill bourbon casks for a rich flavour. Enjoy this one neat or with a drop of water.
